The primary difficulties that deafblind people, their families, and the professionals who work with them encounter throughout their lives will be discussed at the Deafblind International Conference, with the theme “Identities and changes – Commonalities across deafblindness – Learning from each other.” The goal is to define and discuss many perspectives on “Deafblindness” as a distinct impairment regardless of social, political, and economic developments, and to search for alternative solutions and ways to improve the lives of those concerned.
The program includes several conferences, workshops and focus groups, with lecturers from various fields with cross-disciplinary interests.
The Lille Convention Centre located in the heart of the Euralille business district held the event.
